The cookies the site needs are always on. The map on the Contact page runs only if you accept it — and you can change your choice at any time with at the bottom of every page.
- Necessary — one cookie remembers your choice. Always on.
- Statistics — no cookies. Visits are counted without cookies, and nothing is stored on your device for that.
- Media — the map on the Contact page comes from Google Maps. Only if you accept.
- No advertising cookies, and no cookie wall: the site works the same whatever you choose.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others load content from other services, such as a map, and may be used only with your consent.
Necessary cookies
Always on, because the site needs them; they need no consent.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
pc_consent | podbielskicontemporary.comCookie choice | Remembers your cookie choice | 6 months |
Statistics
We use no cookies for statistics. We count visits without cookies, as the privacy policy explains, and Cloudflare Web Analytics measures the speed of the pages without cookies too — nothing is stored on your device for that.
Media
Set only if you accept media. The map on the Contact page is loaded from Google Maps, which sets its own cookies when it loads; until then you see a placeholder and the Directions link. Google's cookie policy: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
— | Google Ireland Ltd.Google Maps | Set by Google when the map loads | As set by Google |
Your choice
On your first visit a banner asks for your choice: Accept all, Reject all, or Choose by category. Closing it with × keeps only the necessary cookies. We remember your choice for 6 months and ask again only after that, or when we add a service. Change it at any time with at the bottom of every page.
In the gallery's admin
The gallery's staff sign in to the admin, at a separate address, with one technical cookie that no visitor of the website receives.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
CF_Authorization | admin.podbielskicontemporary.com | Keeps staff signed in | Until sign-out, at most 12 hours |
Other websites
Links to Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps directions and the publishers of articles about the gallery take you to their websites, which set their own cookies under their own policies. Nothing from those sites loads until you follow the link.
Your browser
You can delete cookies and block them in your browser's settings. If you block necessary cookies, the banner appears on every visit.
